Every great community event starts with a dedicated team of volunteers. Your time and talents help us welcome visitors, support local businesses, and create experiences that showcase the very best of our community.
Soiree on State
The City has partnered with the Avenues Neighborhood Association to combine the Cayce Festival of the Arts with Soiree on State. Soiree on State will include artists, a free kid’s area with bounce courses, face painting and a balloon artist, food vendors, a variety of musicians and more for fun all afternoon long!
Soiree on State will take place from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm along State Street, from Poplar Avenue to Railroad Street.
Tartan Day South
Tartan Day South honors the Celtic culture and heritage in South Carolina’s Midlands region. The traditions of the United Kingdom – Ireland, Scotland and England are showcased. The main event is in Cayce at the Historic Columbia Speedway on Saturday. Other free and paid events are held in West Columbia, Cayce and Lexington. The event is held to benefit the nonprofit River Alliance, which strives to connect people to our rivers – Broad, Saluda and Congaree – while protecting these bodies of water.
Meeting Street Music Festival
Join us for the 3rd Annual Meeting Street Music Fest on April 17-18, 2026, right here in West Columbia, SC! This two-day event features eleven sensational bands playing a variety of music genres. It's the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in live music, enjoy delicious food and beverages, and enjoy endless fun.

CWC Chamber Spring Golf Classic
We are always in need of a great group of volunteers to help make the day successful.
Volunteer sign up is open and we have opportunities available all day - our golf classic is almost sold out and we couldn't do it without a great group of volunteers.
T-shirts will only be guaranteed for those who sign up to volunteer before April 16th.
