What is Parade Day?
The Greater CWC Chamber of Commerce began hosting the community’s beloved Holiday Parade of Lights in 1981. Since then, 12th St., connecting our two major municipalities, has hosted thousands of locals and visitors to see our nighttime parade of lights.
The Greater CWC Chamber wanted to ensure the parade was put on for an even bigger purpose, and that was to highlight the local business community.
]We created what we call “Parade Day” - encouraging our locals and visitors to not only visit the Greater CWC community for the Holiday Parade of Lights, but to stay all day or for the weekend, enjoying all that our businesses has to offer. This longtime community event is the perfect time to support our local small business community!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for 2024 Parade Day in the Greater CWC! We are amazed at the turnout each year for our beloved community event and appreciate the patience, enthusiasm and support of our community.
We had over 24,000 attendees lined along 12th St. last year and look forward to a huge crowd again this year!
Huge thanks to the City of Cayce and City of West Columbia public safety for their efforts in keeping our parade participants and viewers safe.
